18 billion rubles will be granted for small business to 82 regions of the Russian Federation

“The Government pays special attention to this issue and must pay special attention", said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

According to the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian Government will allocate subsidies to 82 regions of the Russian Federation to support small and medium-sized businesses, including peasant farm enterprises, reported RIA Novosti.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of supporting small businesses. "The Government pays special attention to this issue and must pay special attention. 82 regions will receive grants for a significant amount - 18 billion rubles", he said at a Government Meeting. According to Medvedev, the share of co-financing of regional programs from the federal budget will be about 70%.

In mid-March 2013 Medvedev approved the order of subsidies distribution. In 2013 the Russian Government will allocate 18.026 billion rubles for grants to small and medium-sized businesses from the budget. It is supposed that the largest amount of state support will be allocated to Moscow (1.345 billion rubles), the Krasnodar Territory (893.5 million rubles), St. Petersburg (829.6 million rubles), the Moscow Region (806.3 million rubles), the Rostov and Sverdlovsk Regions (643.8 and 612.1 million rubles, respectively).  The least part of subsidies will be allocated to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (4.7 million rubles), the Chukot Autonomous District (5 million rubles), the Jewish Autonomous Region (18.1 million rubles) and the Magadan Region (30.3 million rubles).
