This Federal Law widens the list of employees must be given an unpaid leave by the employer. From now on, on the basis of an employee’s written request, the employer must give an unpaid leave not only to parents and spouses of the servicemen (servicewomen) who were killed or died from a wound, a contusion or a severe injury received as a consequence of carrying out the military duties, but also to parents and spouses of:

·       Members of the state agencies of domestic affairs ;

·       Members of the federal fire protection services;

·       Members of the special agencies controlling the turnover of drugs and psychotropic substances;

·       Customs officials;

·       Members of the institutions and agencies of the criminal-executive system.
